ADDITIONAL ITEMS ASSEMBLE THE EQUIPMENT DATA POST WAR 44
Specialist clothing and accoutrements developed during World War 2 for the use in Jungle and tropical environment. The standard issue items being found to be less than satisfactory for any long term use. With the standard 37 pattern webbing quickly rotting, and the Khaki sand colour of the webbing and uniforms less than ideal for concealment in the green of the jungle. This was over come somewhat by the vat dying of equipment green. But this was only a stopgap until better and more permanent items could be manufactured. This would eventually evolve into the 1944 pattern jungle equipment. With new clothing webbing, weapons and ancillary/personnel items.
